E115 Industries ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you" or "your"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, ImagineLabs (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. The most current version is always available at imaginelabs.app and within the App.

Information We Collect

Information Received Through Sign-In

We use Apple Sign-In as our sole authentication method. When you sign in, Apple may provide us with:

• Apple User Identifier — a unique, anonymous identifier assigned by Apple
• Email Address — Apple may provide your real email address or an Apple Private Relay address, depending on your Apple ID settings. We do not request or require your real email address.
• Display Name — Apple may share your name on first sign-in, depending on your Apple ID settings. You may choose not to share your name with us.

We do not collect or store passwords. Authentication is handled entirely by Apple.

User-Generated Content

When you use the App, you may create and store the following content:

• Character profiles — names, descriptions, personality traits, and appearance details for fictional characters
• Child profiles — a name or nickname and age, used to personalize story content for your child
• Stories — AI-generated story text and images created through the App
• Preferences — story settings such as genre, theme, and age-appropriateness

All user-generated content is stored on our servers to enable syncing across sessions and data recovery.

Device Information

• Device Identifier — we collect your device's vendor identifier (iOS identifierForVendor) to manage per-device free story limits and subscription status
• Platform — we record that you are using iOS

Subscription and Purchase Data

• Apple Receipt Data — when you subscribe or restore a purchase, your App Store receipt is sent to our server for validation with Apple. We do not process or store payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Apple.
• Subscription Status — we track your subscription tier, usage counts, and renewal status

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Precise location or GPS data
• Contacts or address book data
• Photos, camera, or microphone access
• Browsing history
• Payment card numbers or financial account information
• Third-party analytics or advertising identifiers
• We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs

How We Use Your Information

1. To Provide the Service
   • Authenticate your identity via Apple Sign-In
   • Generate personalized stories using AI
   • Store and sync your stories, characters, and child profiles
   • Manage your subscription and enforce usage limits
2. To Improve the Service
   • Monitor aggregate usage patterns (e.g., total stories created) to improve the App
   • Diagnose and fix technical issues
3. To Comply with Legal Obligations
   • Respond to lawful requests from authorities
   • Enforce our Terms of Service

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing emails, or profiling. We do not send push notifications for marketing purposes.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

1. Service Providers — our servers are hosted on Heroku (Salesforce). Your data is transmitted to and stored on these servers solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality. We do not share your data with any other third-party services.
2. AI Story Generation — story text and images are generated using third-party AI services. Character names, ages, and story preferences are sent to generate content. No personally identifiable user information (such as your email or Apple ID) is sent to AI providers.
3. Apple — App Store receipt data is shared with Apple for subscription validation.
4. Legal Requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
5. Business Transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users of any such change.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

ImagineLabs is designed for parents and guardians to use with their children. We take children's privacy seriously.

• Parental Control — the App is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. Only authenticated adult users can create accounts and manage content.
• Child Profiles — parents may create child profiles containing a name or nickname and age. This information is used solely to personalize AI-generated story content (e.g., age-appropriate vocabulary and themes).
• No Direct Collection from Children — we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All data is entered and managed by the parent or guardian.
• No Advertising — we do not display any advertising, including targeted advertising, to any users.
• No Behavioral Tracking — we do not track, profile, or build behavioral models of children or any users.
• Parental Rights — parents may review, modify, or delete their child's profile and all associated data at any time through the App. Parents may also request deletion of all data by contacting us.
• Data Minimization — we collect only the minimum information necessary to provide age-appropriate story generation.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without parental consent, please contact us immediately and we will promptly delete it.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
• Sensitive data (authentication tokens, device identifiers) is stored using iOS Keychain via expo-secure-store (encrypted at rest on device)
• Server access is protected by API key authentication
• We do not store passwords

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

• We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
• You may delete individual stories, characters, or child profiles at any time within the App.
• You may delete all of your data through the App's settings.
• Upon account deletion, we will delete all associated data from our servers within 30 days.
• We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

1. Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
2. Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
3. Deletion — request deletion of your information
4. Portability — request your information in a portable format
5. Restriction — request restriction of processing
6. Objection — object to our processing of your information

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

• You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used
• You have the right to request deletion of your personal information
• We do not sell personal information

European Residents (GDPR)

• Our legal basis for processing is your consent (provided at sign-in) and legitimate interest (providing the Service)
• You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
• You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

International Data Transfers

Your information is processed and stored on servers located in the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the U.S. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

Third-Party Services and Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites (such as Apple's subscription management page). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
